Breakfast Smoothie Bowl: The Power of Fruit

Smoothie Bowls have easily been my favorite breakfast of this spring and summer. They’re so simple to make and it is a fun way to be creative with breakfast in the mornings, because there are so many variations of fruit and toppings that can be utilized. Fruit has so many nutritional properties such as antioxidants and fiber. A smoothie bowl is an easy way to ensure you are consuming enough vitamins and minerals in your diet. All in all, I love a good smoothie bowl in the mornings, it is something that makes me happy to eat and starts my day out right.

Equipment: Power blender

Ingredients:

1 Banana

½ cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen blueberries

½ cup orange juice (depending on how thick or thin you want your smoothie bowl to be add more or less)

2-3 tablespoons of hemp seeds

1 tablespoon cacao nibs

Toppings:

Chia seeds

Peanut butter

Granola (I prefer Purely Elizabeth Ancient Grain Granola in Original)

*This is the approximate amount of ingredients that I use for my bowls. I change up my bowls and the type of fruit I use, and I suggest you do the same for the fruits that you like best.
